A Brief History of Bergerson
Owner Chuck Bergerson was a founding member of Box Products in 1957, building fish boxes for the local canneries.
In 1968 Box Products became Bergerson Northwest. As Bergerson Northwest we operated as a lumber yard, building modular homes, trusses, pre-fab stud walls, and cabinetry, including full service, residential and commercial construction.
While doing construction we observed the long-life of the cedar window, many of which were built before or near the turn of the previous century.
In 1977, seeing the need for a high quality wood window, and using the century old window as a template, Bergerson Cedar Windows was formed, simultaneously running with our construction business.
In 2000 we focused all of our attention to the craft of building windows and doors. Thus closing life’s chapter on the business of being contractors, and applying our hands-on knowledge to work as fenestration specialists.
Since our conception, we have never given up on learning from the integrity and quality of the craftsmen of times past. Bergerson Windows offers some of the finest custom made, solid wood windows and doors available on the market today. We have tried through the years to bring together the high quality craftsmanship of old with the technological advances of today into a perfect union. From Double Hungs to Dutch Doors, French Casements to French Doors, Slider Windows to Lift and Slide Doors, of all styles and sizes, and everything in between. Let Bergerson Windows add a mark of personality to your home or project.
