Bergerson’s picture window is our direct glaze type of window. The glass sets directly into the window jamb eliminating the need for a sash. This type of window is usually fixed or inoperable, though we have integrated it into a combination window. The combination uses the picture window jamb for the fixed part of the window and divides the rest of the window making room for an operating sash on the other side, all within the same jamb. Usually the operating sash would function like an awning or a casement.
